DIRECTORS BIO ~ Grace Bowman, Armidale, NSW

Grace Bowman is an Australian filmmaker passionate about championing character-driven, female-led screen stories and authentic representations of rural and regional communities. She is the founder of Gallop Productions and the Regional NSW Representative for Women in Film & Television Australia, where she works to bring accessible screen opportunities and industry connection to the New England region.

Grace was selected for Screenworks’ 2025 New Kids on the Block initiative and graduated with a Bachelor of Media and Communications (Media & Culture) from the University of New England in 2024. Her short film Her-story won Best Storytelling.
